Wisdom From The Scriptures

Introduction

Hello there great fans. Thank God Is Friday!I serve you the weekend edition of wisdom from the scriptures. The inspiration for today’s wisdom is taken from the story of the blind man in John 9:1-12, captured in this words of wisdom. When God permits you to be written off, HE has a plan to rewrite your story.”. — Ayo Fasanya

Permission For Write Off

There are times in life when God permits a man to be written off, at such time the man is worthless, without any sense of honour and dignity. A man in such a situation is tormented by the question of his past sins, but what is not known to both the man and his onlookers is that the issue might not have anything to do with sins, the issue is just that The Almighty God is exercising His sovereignty over His creation. This was exactly what happened to man under consideration (Jn. 9:1-3).

The Man Was Healed

When the Master had settled the question of responsibility, He proceeded to heal the man. It is of special note here that divine phenomenon cannot be wished away. The natural response to open a closed eye(s) is to wash gently with liquid, but the Lord first applied moist clay to the man’s eyes and then asked to go and wash at the pool of Siloam. The man most probably with the help of people, he washed as instructed and returned seeing (Jn. 9:4-7).

The Rewritten Story

After the man had regained his sight, the same onlookers who wrote him off were also the first to celebrate his victory. The restoration of sight became an issue of contention among the Pharisees and the Sadducees, the contention was so much that the man was excommunicated from the Temple because of his refusal to deny Christ. The issue of excommunication is the story for another day (Jn. 9:8-12, 34).

Take Away

The following are the take away from today’s story:

  • What you are presently going through may not be as a result of sin, it may be that God is rewriting your story (Jn. 9:1-7)
  • Like the case of the blind man, God may be planning some that will give birth to the manifestation of His power in your current situation (Jn. 9:3).
  • Never expect the solution to your problems to happen the way you expect. Your concern should be the solution and not its how (Jn. 9:6).

Dear friends, it does not matter how terrible your story is or might have been, it does not matter how written off you are, all you need to do is allow the Master Writer rewrite your story and you will become a divine celebrity.

Have a pleasant weekend and catch you on Monday.
